Rwanda Fast Facts: 2009 adoptions: 16 Estimated Total Cost: $20,000 to $30,000 Profile: 6 months to 15 years, both boys and girls. Parent Ages: Married couples should be over the age of 30, and singles over the age of 35. Family Status: Married couples and single women can adopt. Only families with no more than 2 children will be considered. Travel: Both parents encouraged to travel, one must travel. 7 to 10 days in Rwanda, 7 days at the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya.
